  1. A big thing people need to remember is you can't add calories your burned directly to your daily rate. Your body compensates during the day, after a workout, to burn less. You should only assume you get 25%-50% of what your burned as a "net benefit". This has been proven in many studies and often why people don't see the results they want.

  2. Took up Triathlon last year and recently finished my first 1/2 IM. I love the sport/training AND what it does to my body and health.
    Great topic in the video👍. There is a really big difference between weight loss and fat loss and i think this is the most important lesson i’ve learned the past year. You dont want to loose muscle😊

  3. I started cycling to get myself out in lockdown with my son. This was the first amount of proper exercise I’d done I’m probably 10 years.
    I then started commuting and got me into cycling more.
    I caught the bug and wanted to then try and take it to the next level and completed my first GoTri in May.

    Now I’m doing CrossFit and my 2nd triathlon of the year in September (Sprint) as well as a standard length duathlon in November!

  4. Rule number 1. You can't out train a bad diet. 2/exercise accounts for only 15% of weight loss. 3/drink beer/alcohol, but stop when you feel it in your head. The rest is normal. During the week nothing sweet, not even fruit. Nothing made from wheat. Nothing starchy like potatoes and rice. Tons of veggies (fresh and/or cooked), fish and white meat. Review diet when you get to where you want to be. Think of the regime as a learning curve. At weekends get your treats in, but in moderation. Look forward to that Eaton Mess, triffle or Mars bar, spaghetti bolognese, but in moderation. You will definitely feel that insulin burst

  5. I think it's better to fuel the work on the bike. You'll perform better, feel better and get fitter. You'll be less likely to over eat later if you've fueled properly before during and after. The increase in fitness will result in greater power outputs resulting in more calories burned. Body fat will reduce naturally over time if eating the right things and body composition will change to suit the type of training you do.

    Believe Jesus died to blot out your sins and proclaim He is your Lord and Saviour.
    Believe He rose again 3 days later in the flesh by God's hand.
    For by grace you are saved through faith.

    Confess and repent of all your sins in prayer in the name of Jesus.
    Forgive those who have harmed you (this will free you from anger) as God forgave you.
    Be baptised fully immersed in water and be baptised in the Holy Spirit (if possible).
    Live pure and stop sinning.
    If you sin unwillfully confess and repent for none of us are perfect except Jesus.

    Be obedient.
    Follow the spiritual laws: 
    Love you neighbour as yourself and love God with all your heart, soul and mind.

    Develop a relationship with God. Walk with him in the cool of the day…
