  1. You are very clear and you make more sense than anyone I have ever seen! I like the “Don’t Rush it” because this is the start of a lifestyle change, I don’t mind how long it takes, I just want to learn to eat what I should be and seeing results ❤️thank you!

  2. Jo, there have been many times when I've tried to enter a deficit but I couldn't understand what it meant from other videos, but you explained it in such detail that I can fully understand now what it means. I'm excited to get started on my journey, thanks for being at the start of it, it means a lot! <3 :))

  3. Thank you for this! It’s been almost 17 years since I lost 160 lbs and now in my 30’s trying to maintain my weight, get stronger, lose a few pounds here and there as my body changes I find myself needing a refresher on how to go about it in a healthy way both mentally and physically. Small swaps like buying a frozen cauliflower pizza for cravings (which I love) and cutting down on take out pizza have been huge lately. I still go out for fun meals with family and friends but it’s not a weekly staple after a long day of work like it used to be.

  4. My BMR is 1800 and my TDEE is 2880. It’s super shocking because I was told by my doctors and other diet plants to eat between 1600-1800 calories. I wondered why I never could lose weight and now I see that I was MAJORLY under eating.

I slowly got my calorie intake to 2100-2300 cals a day over the course of 6 months, and it’s CRAZY how much food it actually is when you’re eating high nutrition foods. I almost struggle now to get enough calories!

  5. So, if mine is 1,731kcal after the 500 being taken away is this calories my body needs to burn or is this how many calories i need to eat. Having a hard time understanding the terminology

  6. When subtracting your TDEE and 500 cal, is that the amount of calories I have to consume a day or the amount that I have to consume each week? And for the protein, is my goal weight the amount I have to consume a day or each week?

  7. I love how you explain this so clearly, and it's all so true! Thank you thank you for this video. Btw, in case nobody's told you, you're so beautiful! It's very obvious you take good care of yourself ❤️❤️
