  1. Swimming in the right age is gonna make you a superhuman. When you go to gym, you build muscles. But when you swim, it changes your bones, makes it stronger and wider. İt changes the capacity of your lungs, makes it bigger. When you go to gym, you build muscles, when you go to swimming you build a body, and it lasts forever.

  2. And don't forget, swimming water polo style crawl and drils with your head up can help you achieve bigger muscles. Water polo players can appear slightly bigger than swimmers/more mascular, but they are still lean and smaller than bodybuilders. My dream physique ( I am already mascular as a swimmer).

  3. Swimming can develop muscles, however since you cannot change the density of water (it would be the equivalent of adding weight in the gym), you can augment the intensity and the speed at which you swim. I am swimming since many weeks and I see a net difference in my body shape, my shoulders and my pectorals became bigger.
