2 Months on Ozempic: weight loss before and after, side effects, injections from a patient’s view

Welcome to my diabetes channel! Let’s talk about Ozempic, weight loss, side effects and I’ll give you a 2 month update.

✨ 6-month Ozempic update:
✨ Here’s how to take Ozempic:
✨ Dealing with nausea? Here are some natural remedies:

I’m really excited to share this video because originally I was extremely afraid of taking Ozempic. I’d heard a lot about side effects and didn’t think it’d be for me. I’ve had some really great weight loss with ozempic, and the side effects haven’t been too awful.

After 2 months I’ve had steady weight loss (which has always been hard for me with PCOS, insulin resistance and Type 1.5 diabetes (or LADA) while still taking insulin.

Additionally, my blood sugars have been ridiculously good. Fastings under 100 mg/dL and mealtimes coasting in the 150’s.

I talk about some of the side effects (and initially not having them and then suddenly having them badly).

The before and after in the thumbnail is a video I shot in May (at a similar starting weight) on the left, and the “during” photo on the right is of me on the day of uploading this video. I’m wearing the same shirt and glasses for reference.

I’m curious if you’ve seen similar results with using Ozempic. Do you still keep losing weight beyond the first 2 months?

  1. I just injected my first Ozempic. Also having to take Metformin due to my test strip showed 153 glucose level.
I am 64yrs. old, have PCOS. Hope this medicine works. My cost for a 5 week pen is $84 per month.

  2. Thank you for your honest review and experiences with Ozempic. Did you decide to stay at the.25 dose after side-effects on the higher dose? Or did the symptoms subside a bit as your body adjusted to .50? It's been prescribed for me as a weight loss aid. I have normal A1C, no diabetes but do have metabolic syndrome (AKA insulin resistance) and have 50+ pound to lose. I also began intermittent fasting (20:4) about 5 months ago and lost 12 lbs. I don't think that life style suits everyone but for me it has been a game changer. Less cooking, lower grocery bills to start!
